Our Support and Development co-ordinator can provide Information and Support on a range of issue, delivered in the clients preferred communication method e.g.; British Sign Language. This information will enable them to make informed choices to aid their independence,

  • Make phone calls/ contact agencies (such as DWP)
  • Translate letters
  • Help to complete forms (such as PIP)
  • Access services
  • Request Communication Support
  • Assist to make complaints due to discrimination

Our SDC works closely with groups to organise guest speakers to attend our centre who will provide information on issues relevant to our client group with communication support provided e.g. Dementia, Mental health, diabetes etc
