We are looking for:
New Trustees to strengthen the existing board, develop services further and work with Management to help drive the charity forward.
New Trustees with particular expertise and skillsets, which we feel will help strengthen and grow the existing board.
SKILL GAPS
Legal
Personnel
Networking
Fundraising
Examples
Charity/Company Law, Contract Law
Knowledge of Employment Legislation
Links with Private/Public sector, Media
Ideas and links for fundraising sources
Whilst these identified areas will be beneficial to the board, they are not a necessary requirement for an applicant. Additionally, a deaf connection/or understanding of the Deaf community would be advantageous, but not a necessity.
The Commitment:
To attend –
- 6 Board Meetings a year, lasting an average of 2 hours. However, the volume and length of the meetings are flexible to meet the needs of the charity.
- An Annual AGM
