Can I enrol on any course?
We always advise our Introduction to BSL course for beginners as this teaches the basics of BSL. You can then choose to progress to the next course.
Students need to have completed the previous course or have sufficient knowledge of BSL to enrol on higher level courses.
Interview with tutor may be advised before enrolment at a cost of £15.
How do I enrol on the course?
Introduction courses are overseen by The WEA (Worker’s Educational Association) so places need to be booked directly with them.
Places on a Level 1 or Level 2 course are booked via dDeaflinks and can only be secured with a deposit. A registration form is also required.
Places are booked on a first come, first served basis.
Can I pay in monthly instalments?
No, we are unable to offer a monthly payment option. Once a deposit is paid, the remaining balance will need to be paid within 3 weeks of the course starting.

What if my employer is paying for the course?
If a third party is covering the cost, we need confirmation from them stating the amount they will pay. Their details will be needed for Finance to raise an invoice. Payment must be made before the course starts.
When is the balance due?
Fees for the Intro course are dealt with by The WEA.
Level 1 – Remaining course fee AND half of the exam cost is due no later than 3 weeks after the start date of the course. You will be notified when the remaining half of the exam is due.
